Product Pathways - Logistics
This register sets out each industrial hemp product pathway as one horizontal logistics chain. A reader can select a PP-0XX row, move from left to right through the stages, locate their own involvement and see what needs to happen before and after it.
Each stage records information considerations rather than confirmed operating instructions. Specifications, costs, service availability, transport conditions and commercial terms must be verified for the actual participant, product, location and season.
It uses the PP-0XX identifiers in the Product Pathway Register. It is a logistics and hand-off map, not evidence that a pathway is commercially viable.
How To Use The Register

- Locate your role and check the stage immediately before and after it.
- Confirm the applicable specification, responsibility, timing, ownership, cost and acceptance conditions in writing.
- Record unresolved information using the hand-off record fields below the matrix.
Some businesses may occupy several roles. A grower may also dry or store grain; a processor may also buy material; a manufacturer may coordinate freight. Combining roles does not remove a hand-off. Ownership, specification, cost and risk still need to be recorded at the point where they change.
Each PP-0XX logistics row is followed in the web register by a shaded PP-0XX-COST row generated from the structured cost register at 06 Evidence Register/product-pathway-cost-register.csv. The cost rows are financial scaffolds, not completed budgets. They separate reviewed national benchmarks, unverified contributed leads, template fields and regulatory or scope holds.
Use both dollars per hectare and dollars per saleable unit. Do not divide by harvested tonnes where drying, cleaning, grading or processing reduces the quantity that can actually be sold. Do not use retail product prices as farm-gate or processor prices.
The principal calculations are:
- Farm-gate break-even price = on-farm pathway cost per hectare ÷ accepted farm-gate tonnes per hectare.
- Delivered break-even price = cumulative production, post-harvest and freight cost per hectare ÷ accepted delivered tonnes per hectare.
- Processed-product break-even price = cumulative retained cost less verified co-product credits ÷ saleable processed units.

The contributed first draft established the useful sequence from seed supply through production, harvest, processing, distribution, freight and co-products. It also collected agronomic, cost and technical leads. Those leads have not been copied into this register as settled facts where the source, geography, product use or commercial status remains unclear.

It does not yet contain enough verified participant, location, capacity, cost, timing or contract information to demonstrate that any PP-0XX pathway is operationally or commercially viable in the New England Landcare Network member-organisation region.
